Airport Transfers to Alpe d'Huez France

I have two ski related web sites, one for Serre Chevalier and one for Alpe d'Huez.  Both these resorts are quite a long distance from the nearest airports of Grenoble, Lyon, St Etienne and Turin.

I'd like to know if anybody has used any airport transfer services, such as A-T-S and how good they were.

I'm mainly interested in these factors:

  • was it reasonably priced?
  • did the vehicles have plenty of room for skis etc?
  • did the driver know where they were going?
  • was the booking process easy?
  • did the driver meet you easily?

Your comments below would be very much appreciated.

Basically the local transport from Grenoble to ADH is fine, and at about 10 Euros one way is really cheap. Coach to Grenoble train/bus station, then bus to resort and the bus driver will help you in selecting to correct stop. Easy with a little research. I would suggest you publish the airport and connecting bus timetable on your website so people can have an alternative to private transfers, because if you are not in a group private transfer is expensive.
