Leaving Le Caravaneige in Chantemerle
The Caravaneige was a popular place to stay in Serre Chevalier we left in April 2002 when it shut. It reopened in the summer of 2002, after which it shut forever. We were worried that it would get developed and turned into another Club Med, but luckily it has just become a park.
The restaurant that we used to fondly call 'Freds' is now called something like the twisted fork (I'll find out for real tommorrow).
